Default Paint or Powder Coat

Im rebuilding Bravo gimbles and Outdrives is it better to Powder Coat or Paint?

What Paint is the best for the Gimbles and outdrives.

Powdercoat looks like chit. Use an epoxy primer then paint them with Imron.

There's also a risk of annealing high strength alum alloys at some of the powder cure temps. Sherwin Williams makes a nice high gloss black with a 275 F cure 30 min. That won't effect physical properties.

I use PPG Dp. series epoxy primer then Imron topcoat. Bullet proof! Lasts longer then the part. lol. Powder coat gets a nick, moisture creeps then comes off in sheets!
