Default bravo 1 lower speed limit

because of design isnt there a aprox speed limit of the bravo 1 lower? i thought i had read where above certain speeds the case design (rounded) caused the water to seperate from the drive leaving the prop without enough water to "bite" effectively. where as an imco sc lower would work a lot better, talking about in the 100mph plus area on a 25ft cat and 750hp.
also looking for a phone number for mr gadgets thx.

I started to pop upper gears in the high 80's near 90 coming off power in flat water. It was our guess at the time that was possibly the cause.

On my 31 Awesome I ran the stock lowers to 105 they were DWP so we had to add blow off valves, (to much water pressure) added -2 imco lowers & picked up 5, not sure if it was the case or the higher drive height, likely a bit of both

I know PFE racing ran 103 with a stock lower. I run 90 with a Hydro-Motive nose cone. I noticed the boat did run better after adding the nose cone.

i think i had my lower sold but not taking a chance of having a boat i cant use this spring and maybe summer, think ill stick with what i have right now. pretty sure mmx billet is on of the fastest and i love the 1 inch longer skeg for control and especially the water pick up being further back by the skeg. seems it would be a lot less likely to suck up sand when parking on a sand bar, which i have a lot of here. current drive trimmed all the way up still burries the fwd lower nose in the sand when parking. the imco h2o intake would be in the sand. i still could walk it off the sand bar and feel the intake but seems like a lot of trouble. dont want to stop up the oil cooler, inner cooler or water jackets in the motor, which i have seen happen before.
