Default Bravo Big shaft conversion

Hello, Can CMI's captin's call/silent choice still be used with the 1 1/4 big shaft conversions on a bravo one drive? I have not been able to find any information on it and I thinking that it can not be. Thanks in advance.

Any Captain's Call/Silent Choice setup I've ever seen runs an exhaust tube. Got a buddy with a 33 Outlaw with 500 EFI's, Silent Choice, and XZ's which have the bigger prop shafts.

He means the exhaust bellows I think??. Some old school guys call them tubes or boots. When you switch the silent choice on it'll go down the y pipe through the transom assembly and out the exhaust bellow. I don't personally have any experience with the big prop shafts but I see 0 reason why it wouldn't work. You can eliminate the bellow and even be fine plenty of them have been ripped as long as the flappers in the y pipes are good no water is coming back up. It'll just dump the exhaust under water without the bellow directing water into the prop

Yes it will still work. Just use the boot instead of bellows, it helps relieve the pressure.

Yes it would still work the exhaust exit holes in the 1 1/4 prop shaft carrier are about 1/2 the size of the stock bravo carrier, as stated above remove the exhaust bellows and install the boot style so you don't restrict the exhaust.

If your boat has a bellows instead of a tube, you can always remove the bellows and cut it short so it does not attach to the drive.
