Default Bravo 1X advice

I have a stock 496HO in a 04 Nordic Heat and I have twisted the prop shaft about one full spline (didn’t hit anything) bad throttle operation on my part. The shops within 500 miles around are really not that familiar with this issue so I’m looking advice,
-Have it repaired with factory part
-Have it repaired with Teague or Imco shaft
-Order new or rebuilt factory lower
-Order new or rebuilt XR lower
-Should I be concerned about the upper as well
Etc, Etc …I don’t plan on increasing the Horsepower so it seems pointless to go too crazy on upgrading but I really don’t have a lot of experience with Bravo’s yet!
Any suggestions where to send it or buy one, I’m from Saskatchewan Canada…Thank you. Tim

If you have that much twist in the propshaft, I would also be concerned with twist in the vertical shaft as well.
I would send the entire drive to John at The Bravo Shop and have him go through it completely.

When you upgraded to the Imco's did you do the Verticals as well?

I would contact John at the Bravoshop and have him inspect the drive. He will give you an honest opinion and discuss your options.
