I have an 88 Scarab with a single 454 Bravo setup. I am replacing the outdrive with a newer model that has the drive oil reservoir. I am also replacing the Transom assembly. My question is, will the original inner transom bracket work with the new style transom assembly or will I need to find a newer style inner bracket?

If you ordered a new transom assembly they come with a plate.
