Default XR Prop Hubs

I posted this question in the general Q&A section an didn't get a response...anyone know if I need to grease the hub before inserting it into the prop?

They make prop shaft grease for that.

I have never greased the hub, only the splines on the prop shaft, for twenty some years.. The rubber shims help cushion the fit of the hub.. Grease on them, I would think would not be a good thing..

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know, It didn't seem right greasing the hub....the splined shaft was a given
