Ya know mine did that with the 6 Blades the boat would walk up on the blades. I have 5 blades like you and the boat likes them. Have you tried 4 blades? maybe that would calm it down alittle

It's cause the back of the boat is trying to take off like the space shuttle with 2100hp worth of exhaust pointing straight at the water.

That’s funny
I see another 50' Hustler listed for sale with Trips and ADS-8s and the photo shows he is running a 5 blade on the out sides and a 4 blade on the center.
Not sure if this is the case but I have a call into him also.

So you mean when you throttle the boat the steering moves, or the boat moves, or the boat moves and the steering does not react? I called you back last night, you were not in.

Hey Rik,
The steering wheel is not moving but feels like the bow is steering. So yes the boat moves.

I will have to work on getting that. I did just go for another run and I noticed if I trim up to 2 on my gauge it really calms down. but it’s all rooster tail and no speed. 0 would be in line with the hull at the transom.

Rik what are your thoughts about adding weights to the transom? I have no other way of shifting weight and now that you mention LCG I’m almost sure I need more transom weight on this Monster.

I will get some sand bags to give it some weight on the rear. Maybe have 200Lbs on hand and start with 100 and see how it goes.
Thank you
