Default trs drive lower unit question?

Ok here is the story I bought a Baja 320 that was missing the right side out drive. The guy lost most of the parts except the lower propeller shaft and gears/bearings. I bought another outdrive. but its the wrong rotation. I assume I can change the shafts/gears in the lower unit and get the correct rotation that I Need. My question is the bearing at the end of the shaft closer to the nose cone/front of the lower unit are different size am I able to change bearing race's or are the lower unit housing different I would assume the housing are not different from a mfg stand point would cost to much. Just want input to make sure im correct.. thanks for your help.
