Default No trim when under power

So it will trim both drives when on the trailer ,and In the water but when under power it will not trim up past 2 marks . Now it has power all the time it tries to trim just seems like it doesn't have the pressure ? I have changed both pumps , lines , new cylinders when I changed the gimbles . Are there different pressure pumps , I took the pump off and took it to the boat shop and they " crossed " the number and the " new " one is different . So I looked it up online and it had a line that said something like for a 175-250hp ??? That's the reason I ask about pump pressures . Boat has No limiter switches . Works great on the trailer and at idle only under a load will it not trim more than a little .

Did the problem start suddenly, or after some work in that area?
I had the same issue after removing my pump once, turned out that I did not put the lines back in the original position at the pump. Swapped position of the lines and problem fixed.

Everytime I've had that issue it was the valves in the pump body getting weak. I don't believe they are servicable. Get a new pump from BAM he's got great pices on complete pump assemblies.

Yes it started when I put new motors , drives, gimbles, trans in the boat . I have swaped the lines ,that feed the trim cyl system . I'm going to take it to a hydrolic shop Monday and have them check the pressure and flow .

called the pump company they said i have a low pressure pump ( this is the pump the boat shop crossed the number over and got so i bought 2 of them ) , high side is only 2500 psi , konrad said needs to be 3000 psi . so i talked to the pump co owner he said i can take them to a local hydrolic shop and they can adjust them to make 3k psi . AND YES you are correct there is a high side and low side . HIGH side will have inverted flare , low side is pipe thread .

i will keep you guys informed on the progress
