Is the input shaft on a TRS/ Borg Warner different than a TRS/ Merc trans. Are they the same spline count and length? I check BAM's site and did not see a different part number, but I wanted to ask and make sure.

Yes. They are different. The B/W is a male splined shaft, Merc trans is a female.

you mean the yoke for the drive correct? the input for the trans are both male but the BW trans is larger.

Pat you can change the the MercII input shafts with the ones off of your #2's i sold you a borg warner input shaft a few years ago.

NOPE! As Thunder said, The B/W is male splined and the Merc Trans is female splined.
