Drives to deep?

I think it had some sort of surface drive. 32 envision 450hp bbc. I will try trimming more and see what happens

Thanks fixx....if I trim more I can get it to 5000rpm pretty good spray with that much trim

That is the deepest drive install I've ever seen. Surface drives previously would make sense, but they really should've raised the engines and drives up

Can the outdrives be raised using extension boxes without. Cutting transom?

Drives are way too deep, especially since somebody made those custom little tabs to try and deflect the water.

Here is another boat for comparison, not much higher, maybe 3 inches or so.

yes if you can find a pair of Stellings boxes, I think you can get 1" out of the Merc ITS boxes, might be easier to install some -3 lowers from IMCO to raise your propshafts 3". It would be expensive but some X-Power drives would solve your problems.
