Default Alpha One G2 - jumps when i push it into forward

Hi

I have a Silverton 312 Sedan Cruiser with 2x 120DTI Mercruiser with Alpha G2 Drives.

This summer I was out sailing in 1m Waves, when the one Drive suddenly startet jumping heavely. I tryed while we were sailing to adjust the gear kable but without luck. It still jumps heavely.

Do you think the gear is damaged?

I have the drive in my garage now and have tryed turn the axel but cant feel anything wrong.

THanks for all ya help

Quick way, put it in neutral, spin the shaft, feel for drag or hard spots. Drain drive the fluid into a pan, then strain it through a paint strainer. Or pull the top cap, inspect the gears visually. Or depending on the hubs in the prop you may have spun the hub if it is rubber.
