Sharp boat, I would have never guessed by looking at it that it would have diesels in it! As far as the tags go I'm sure the guys on here can help. I've only been around a few 3208's so not too familiar with them.

I'd love to know what they sound like around the dock!

yellow is the standard "CAT" color. what engine parts are you looking for? a base 3208 is a 3208 per say. it looks like they are fresh water cooled, yes? nice looking boat ! by the way had one in one of my beverage delivery trucks couldn't kill it.

That's one of the nicest 41's I've seen! Serial numbers are passenger side or right side from rear looking forward at end of block, if I recall? If they are recon engines from Cat the serials will work still if they are swapped blocks or something get the numbers off the fuel pump, that should at least be able to tell you (with CAT help) which HP engines you have, I'm 95% sure 320hp or less as I don't see an aftercooler?

A good friend had the same set up years ago . Boat ran 50 through just about anything . The boat was very reliable , his truck shop mechanic maintained the motors with little or no trouble . Big boat , she looked great running down the bay .

The one in my del. truck was like 175hp? - no turbo N/A engine. Looks like you could Fab. up an intercooler and turn up the pump if you wanted to, but I would leave it alone. By the way what size props do you have they look like the short hub old school wheels. That may be something to change. Good luck with your restoration.

Hi .the props i think my be a problem ? they don't look right. the drives are long shaft and it looks to have a fabd up aluminium spacer on the rear of the props to take up the slack ?? i am going to look at the calculations this week and let you know . i am not convinced that this setup will be right Ricky
