Default trs tilt pins

Any hints on best way to get frozen tilt pins out of a TRS gimbel ring with out destroying it.Thanks JOHN SR

Wish I had something for ya. I had a set there were frozen inside the drive portion. They were so friggin stuck, no amount of heating, soaking with penetrants, and whatever other tricks I could try, just wouldnt work. Ultimately i had to cut the stubs off, then drill a small hole thru the center of what was remaining inside the drive. Once I drilled thru with the small bit, it came right out. Before I drilled, I was beating that sob with a small sledge, and it wouldnt even budge. I figured before I cracked the drive housing, I better try something else. The drill worked great. Good luck, they can be a S.O.B.
