NXT trans fluid change

Any tips on changing changing the oil in a NXT transmission in 2007 formula 382?
the drain hoses are very acessable, but I can barley touch the dip sticks with my finger tips.
Can't touch or see the fill plugs.
Drain and fill thru the drain hoses?

Yes, it works very well to pump the oil out from the hose and then fill from the hose.
