Default Bravo 1 lower paint question

Last year I did some minor touch up work on the lower where the nose cone blends into the bullet. I also had a notch taken out of the skag that I JB welded. It was then prepped, cleaned with prep sol, primed with PPG Prima K36 primer, and painted with PPG Concept FCC acrylic urethane.

It lasted one day. I nicked the prop and it pulled out the JB weld. However, the whole skag was pretty much stripped of paint. So did we use the wrong stuff? Just improperly cleaned?

I'm going to have the notch welded/filled, and then paint the lower again. But would like it to last more than a day this time. Thanks for the help.

If you can get a hold of Bravo service manual #28 SUPPLEMENT there is a section on painting cases. It gives proper produce to prime and paint. Also gives the what paint to use.

We use PPG Epoxy Primer , then the Black Concept , Lasts great and retains its shine.
