6" to a foot the new blowers hit the back plus the new header muffler combo needs extra room.

My 36 cat is set up with XRs on drivlines. Driveshafts are about 2' long though. I dont know if you can go much less??? I love the set up though!

I'm sure i can't move them that far we only have about two feet to the back of the seat. We may have to go to plan B?

You CAN have a driveshaft cut down to any length.

Its really gonna come down to how much room i have vs how much i need and what will be the most cost effective way to get this done? If i can find the driveline parts for the right price that will probly be the way to go? I have also been toying with the idea of making spacer plates for the bell and drive plate?

The shortest drive shaft you can get is about 10", so then you have to add the length of the 2 adapters. I don't have the standard drawing here at home so going from memory I think that will put you about 14" forward. However the parts you need are not inexpensive.

Another possibility would be to put the u joint from an ITS on the drive. That would give you about 6" forward for much less work and expense.
