The radius on the bearing we are talking about goes against the fwd pinion gear , no one has sheared a fwd gear base shaft off gear as its super thick and every other part in the drive would break before the gear base sheared, extra radius on this bearing does nothing so the 387 (that has a shorter radius on back) will pose no issues, Smitty

Just a generalization, I've seen plenty of sheared off shafts, and radius is key strength, or lack thereof.
Glad you are back on the water, or at least close. Afraid I'm going to run out of summer and water before I'm back together.

I just disassembled another Bravo1 and it had just the number 387 bearing, no A or B letters
