a million years ago bravo stuff was expensive and scarce. Ken at NuWave marine recounted to me how it was possible to grind out an alpha ring to fit bravo bell housing in it to do a bravo conversion. the only justification was that bravo stuff was hard to get. heck, pretty soon gen 1 alpha stuff is gonna get hard to find...course nobody will miss it but me.
