5 blade will plane much easier, gain a little mid range, and loose a little top end.

5 blades hook up the power much better than a 4. Should notice a nice seat of the pants difference in mid-range.

I'll second that.couldn't get on plane to save my life,36 pitch 4 blade.changed to a 32pitch 5 blade and now,no problem.I even took my 2.5" spacer out.now it hooks hard all the time w/ the 5 blade.And it is alot harder on my xr gears as tear downs have shown.
