Top Swivel pin on aTRS

I see how you loosen the U bolt and that frees the pin up at the Gimble. You loosen the bolt that is thru the tiller arm.You take the nut off that's threaded on the tiller arm pin But NOW is that grease fitting .n the top of that pin threaded into that swivel pin.and the whole works goes out thru the gimble ring together.???????I'm little confused.

You remove the grease fitting which is threaded into the top end of the swivel pin. Then take a pin punch and drive the swivel pin down/out. This is on page 4A-19 in the TRS manual #5. Did I send you that manual a while back?

That pin the tiller arm is on IS the swivel pin.

Did get the top pin out.with out a problem along with the bottom one.Question The swivel pi in the bellhousing threads in a little loose on one side will red locktight take care of that.

I would say yes if the treads are good enough to hold the recommended torque of 60 ft. lbs. May want to use green Loctite 609. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/667...compound-10-ml Really good stuff I've used before!
