mount them at "0" with no spacer so that you can run 3" spacer for pleasure driving and take them out when you wanna run the bag off the boat!! IMO

I hear Bobby says 1 inch higher than his bravos which were 4 below. seems low especially if going with a box down the road. looks like he wants the bullet below/in the running surface.

Whats Bobby say about turning the props inward. My boat was set up inward by the previous owner and handling sucked. Talked with Bobby he said no to inward rotation. rEVERSED THEM to counter rotation and lost a few MPH but waves and wakes were nothing after that.

He is not a true surface drive, so what you found usually works best. True surface drives most of the time spin in.

OK MIKE if you're gonna run them 3" below then why run a #5? a 3a would be as strong and properly designed to run below the surface... 5s are a surfacing drive just my $.002

Told him if he's going 3 below we need to trade. I want 1" below on the fountain he wants 3", I have mint 3's he has decent 5's

there it is!! and Jamie I would mount those 1" up on that fountain... use a spacer to get some recreational drivability
