Default bravo 1 billet top caps

i broke the floor in my top gear on my bravo 1 upper motors make 700hp and over 700ftlbs i dont really have the money to go for a nice imco drive so i was wondering if these billet top caps are worth the money. and which one is the one to get?

These are the nicest one out there. I have a set and they work great. Cheaper than Teague and similar in design the Imco SC top cap for cooling.

Check out the Max Machine top cap. The have a series of parts that can add strength to the case.

Yes, I love mine. They are great with the 7/16 stud upgrades too.

Sounds like you have the thin floor driven gear. Why not replace that with a used 32tooth thick floor gear, and top cap? If you stick with thin floor gears, the top cap isn't going to gain you much in the way of strength or added durability. Seems top caps are always a good upgrade, however they benefit left hand drives much more than right hand. You probably know this, but the Achilles heal of a bravo one(there are many, but this one sticks out) is the lack of a steel tower. Might not be in the budget, however a tower would tie everything together. Food for thought.

My drives are 1998 style how do i know if i have the thick floor
