$2500 is fair if in that great of condition.
Going price for decent ones $2k up to $2500.
Big issue - availability of course.
Took me a few years or more to get a good one at a reasonable price.

looking for alpha one ss lower unit...
I have one that is in amazing condition. It was bought brand new when they were still available, used for less than 30 hours and then removed from the boat and sat in the basement wrapped up for years. The mid section was not available at that time so a used mid was bought and all new internals were installed. Now the bad news I would want what I paid for it ($2500) ,I live up in Canada and I'm just in the process of putting my boat back together and undecided to use this drive or my regular alpha one. If anyone is interested then feel free to contact me. I have pictures but I'm new on this site and not quite sure how to upload them yet. I could possibly text the pictures to anyone
