this might be a job for a tech for you to pay and see if he will show you how to do this. Did you put the shifter in fwd gear to. If not you can cause damage trying to separate them..

Also was just saying because if you were pulling the upper or already did then tried to split them in my post above. You can pressure test your lower but need to block your oil hole while putting air in it with the proper tool to find any leaks just in case that is leaking to. IMO your leak is in the upper, the seals as I mentioned in my first post. it is secondly common to leak under the waterpump housing and this is why to pressure test the lower - like I just said. IMO it might wise to reseal the whole unit.

I would look for the section that might say resealing your upper and resealing your lower in the Seloc manual. I do not know what Seloc says because I do not use them. I Sell them but really not as good as the OEM manuals. they are a lot cheaper price than the OEM hence why people buy them. I have to go back to work now - good luck with it.

Make sure the shaft where the seals in the upper keep the oil in the upper dont have or get a long scratch going vertical . It will leak .
your at the point of no return now do the alpha seal big 3 and your done . For under a hundred bux
Go green on your drive oil and every now and then on a friday morning with the drive down pull the bottom screw with a short beefy flat tip real quick and make sure no water is sitting at the bottom of the oil doesnt hurt
