putting bravos on TRS transom shield.
bought some parts yesterday from this guy and he said he used to make an adapter to put a bravo bell housing (helmet) into a trs gimball ring. showed me the spot cast into the transom shield where you can mount the shifter boot and drill out for the cable. has anybody ever heard of this? then after i left there i thought, what about the rear motor mount?

Or how about the coupler and removing the transmission? The easiest part of the job would be putting the bravo transom assembly on.

In some old magazines I have seen an extension box to convert trs to bravo think stellings used to advertise it never seen one only in the mags but they must have had a way to deal with the inside also

There is a big metal plate type thing that was designed to mount a bravo on a volvo cutout. It can also be used to mount a bravo on a trs cutout... http://www.michiganmotorz.com/mercru...or-p-1069.html

The yoke shafts are 5" or so different length swapping whole set up lets you move the engine back .wonder how the trs "superrams " would work with the bravo anyway

...or you could just replace your rotted transom and cut it for a bravo...
