Default Drive trim

Good morning,

Yesterday after a day on the water... Got back to the marina went to trim the drive up to be put in the barn and nothing...

It will trim down so guessing it's just the solenoid for the up trim. Out of town this week for work and want to get the solenoid ordered anyone have a good place to get these, and know what part number I need ?

Thanks !

You should verify your getting power at the solenoid when trimming up. That will determine if its the switch, or solenoid.

and of course Swap the solenoids to see what happens but before all of this to get proper help that pertains to your app. .

YOU need to post what in the world you have as well. Mercruiser, Volvo, OMC, Marine Power, and what outdrive are we talking about. Not everyone owns a Mercruiser and Bravo. if this is a Merc and bravo great, but its only guess at this point..

Might be as easy as a loose terminal connection on the trim switch? Is it in handle, or on dash?
