Citgo owns Mystik

Citgo MARINE that are labeled are cheaper than Mystik Marine labeled products. They are the exact same product.

Mystik gear oil is pretty good stuff

Citgo makes alot of related oils for the OEM marine engine manu's

Merc High Perf gear oil is average at best plus I already reported who makes that. This one is not made by Citgo but Merc prem gear oil is made by Citgo.

Merc Racing Gear oil is made by someone else and is by far a better product than the other 2 Merc gear oils. It comes with alot higher cost. I have to keep my mouth shut as to who makes so dont ask. It is not a big named oil related blender either. Just saying.

Bel ray and its Bel Ray lowest line marine gear oil who makes Merc High Performance gear oil (NOT Merc racing gear oil ) - they Bel Ray have made this since day one for Merc. Years ago it was alot better of an gear oil as one of its additives had to be reduce because it is toxic to the wateways and marine life.

THIS is the Merc High perfmance gear oil that Bel ray makes for MERC. Like I said its Bel Ray lowest level marine gear and it is ZERO % synthetic as most think that it is ----- IT IS NOT.

antimony is the additive that was reduced, its very toxic to the water and marine life. here is the main blend for Merc / Belray High Perf gear oil - Mineral oil, Antimony and Moly and of course some other in the blend.

Moly is good but it has to be the correct and blended correctly moly because it will fall out of suspension very easily. If you ever left certain gear oils on the shelf for a period of time and dump it out - and the bottom of the bottle looked like glumps of ash in the bottom most likely that was the moly additive that fell out.

Mystic is some good Shii , We used it in our 800 Hp Sprint Car guick change rears. They have a hypoid ring and pinion , and straight cut spur gears in the rear section. they get super hot 300-350. in a 30 lap race.
Never burned up or oxidized, stopped the pitting of the 4.56 r&p we used.
