Welcome to my world. Except it will be 2X for me. I looked at the B-Max a week or so back. They are impressive looking. They are also local to me also. After the sale service means a lot........I just know that I am through with XR's.

Almost a no - brainer , look at Imco , SCX and SCX-4 ! A company that's been around a while and has a lot of options and various
combinations to put together a drive for a lot of different boats .

Following this thread......What are my options with ITS? I know with IMCO drives you need to replace the helmet, but what about the input shaft? Does IMCO make ITS ready drives? I was considering sending my drive to this place http://www.allamericandriveservice.c...rformance.html Any comments on that?

AADS, DPM "Mr. Gadgets", Max Machine Works, The Bravo shop all can upgrade a bravo drive but none of them can compare to a SCX especially for bang for the buck.

Bmax has a decent upper but the lower is just an upgraded XR

Obviously Arneson and X-Power make incredible products also!

Dave,
you can get the SCX setup for ITS with the longer input shaft. There is also an ITS helmet that mounts a sensor, but it will not work with the Imco Gimbal ring, just the Merc ring.
Hope that helps.

So in order to put a SCX or SCX4 on a Merc ITS you only need the Imco helmet along with the drive correct? Same as putting one on a standard Merc transom assembly?
