If you go with the JR u bolt make sure you lube, lube, lube the threads with the supplied grease or the nuts will lock up when trying to install. And don't forget to lube.

Pull the engine if you have access to a lift,,,,, its not that big of a deal and one less hole in the back of your boat

When u say one hole your talking about the one that's is the outdrive right? Yah I could rent a lift and I'm thinking one full day to unleash everything next day pull. Next two three days to repair and other things while engine is out. Think I can lift it out with my gil exhaust on. Does the drive shaft just pull out?

I did the JR kits on both of my Bravos.. Came out good and steering is tight, my gimbal ring was not worn that bad, so I didn't need to rebuild.

I painted and put new decals!

You have to take apart the ring and then tell them what you need. the cover plate kit you order first which is around $60 and rent the wrench kit to take apart. follow instructions exactly. then send in the ring with your parts list and they will ship one right back. I used the ebay swivel SS pin and worked well. just remember to lube the u bolt. And don't break the drive lube fitting. I would order 2 water hose bushings just in case. his wrenches are a little tight and I ground mine down a little more and kept them as I seem to be doing several of them.

Ok now it makes sense!! That's the answer I was looking for! Thank you for your reply. So the SS pin was the only part you got, where did u buy bushings, seals? All EBAY? what parts did u replace and what was your total cost of parts?? If I may ask. Thank u again. Going to verify today that the slop is indeed in the outdrive.

JR Marine sells everything, bushings, seals, bellows, etc. Anything you need they sell. I actually bought new trim sending units from them for both drives, I am not going to use them so if you need those I will make you a deal. This is the electrical senders on the sides of the steering ring that control your trim gauges.
