Hard shifting Bravo B1xz
just wanted to let everyone know, had a hard shift issue on one engine on my 28 Daytona, wasn't hard, just hard to get neutral, pulled the rear cap, spring/ball was fine, but, found the allen screw that holds the shaft to the fork was backed out, boat has only 200 hrs, repaired with some lock tight, decided to pull other side, found screw loose, this is a 2003, just letting everyone know, if there are shifting issues, pull that back cap and take a look before freaking out.

It's a good thing you found this before that allen-screw backed all the way out, goes through the drive, and turns your gearsets and drive fluid into apple sauce.
Ask me how I know that.
I had no indicator of hard shifting, it just ended up "stuck" in one gear.
