Cool Bravo One with nose cone added

I have twin Bravo One with added nose cones, I purchased the boat with the nose cone added already. Do anybody know what type of filler is use to help mold the nose cone to the outdrives?
Sometime part of the filler has fallen out, I have tried a couple of different filler already, does not stay on after being in the water a few time. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

They come with a special adhesive and then they are finished with bondo. I had one on my old Hydrostream and the filler would break loose all the time. Had to fill it every few weeks. I switched to "bondoglass" and it worked better but still would not last.

Many of us have had great results with All Metal. Hydromotive used to suggest it. I'm sure others hear will chime in with same results with All Metal.

I have used it to install noscecones, but have never used it as a 'repair' - so not sure how that would work.

Yep, allmetal. Works great for repairs also. I've used it to repair chunks out of skegs, cav plate etc...

Here's how I do them. Have done several for myself & friends. Just finishing one on my Merc OB with a low water pickup from Bobs. The one in the BF thread is an IMCO.

No, the nose cone was added to the bravo one drive already, the filler was use to fill in the gap between the cone and drive casing.

Don't know what you're using for the repair but from what you're saying it's not bonding. Best to do is take it down to the bare metal and if the cone is bonded good to the case then fill with All Metal with several light layers sanded in between until you get both surfaces evenly matched. Don't rush the drying time of the All Metal. It takes time and patience to get good results.
Good Luck.

Yes, and I've also used it to form missing chunks of aluminum from drive impacts with objects. Held up great in both aspects. As always, surface prep is key b4 installing.
