I was planning to swap sbc in place of a 2000 4.3 powered volvo sx I have a complete1998 5.0 volvo sx doner boat. However the coupler does not fit because my 383 sbc is the older style 2pc rear main seal block and the crankshaft bolt pattern is different. Does anyone know if there is a coupler that fits the the old style block for the volvo sx drive?

Ayuh,.... Seirra makes that retro-fit coupler for a Mercruiser, never looked to see if they make one for the Volvo/ OMC, nor have I compared the Merc to the Volvo/ OMC coupler for length,....
