Default shift cable bellow : clamp or tie rap ?

I lost my special plier for the shift cable clamp on the shift cable bellow. Would you use a tie rap like i see some are using?

Special tool? I have never had a problem and don't have any special tool. I just use a pair of pliers.

If you're talking about a stepless clamp, end nippers from any hardware store will get the job done.

I use these type of tie wraps. Merc actually uses these on some outboard fuel lines.

That what I used on mine years ago. They have a partial radius which is nice and won't rust.
