Imco sc stronger then a built bravo?
are the Imco Sc as strong or stronger then a built bravo base drive?
|
The IMCO has a nice case but they contain the same marginal gears as the XR's do
|
NO! But they look cool, so that must mean its faster
|
The IMCO SC has a much stronger case, has a much stronger cap- (stainless steel vs Aluminum and 8 bolts holding it down vs 4), The tower is longer than most tower inserts and tolerances are tighter, at least the ones that I've built were. Is it 2x's as strong? No, but pick up an XR case and then pick up an IMCO case. There is no comparison as to which one has more material in it. Yes the gears, shafts, bearings are all the same, but if the case flexes less which one will hold up better? Not to mention, how much are these other guys charging for an improved tower? Other than that what can they really do to make a stock case better?

You can use a Bravo XR upper housing & add Max Machine 11/2 thick top cover for strength.

hey
so basically the SC would be a better thing to go to , can you uprade sc to scx? eventually?
