Default What’s a Smart Craft?

Looking at new transom assemblies and see many advertised as Smart Craft units. What’s different on these than a standard TA? All I’m seeing is a plug for the Trim senders?? vs 2 wires. Can Smart Crafts be used for a standard Bravo replacement? Will be changing my drive bottles over to the smaller square ones with quick disconnect for ease of clean out yearly.
Thanks

Refers to the trim sender. Old 2 wire is for analog gauges. 3 wire hooks to computer on engine for display on Smartcraft instruments.

If you have mechanical indicators will make no difference.
