Anyone,
Not looking to "polish" the lowers, but looking to restore the consistent finish of the aluminum lowers. What is the process and product used to do this? I do not want to paint them. Appears to be just bare aluminum. I have some stains on mine from product (think wax drips) staying on there and needs to come off. Just a good round of scotch-brite? What about sharkhide aluminum cleaner?

(did a search, found nothing) Thanks.

Both of the above responses seem worthy of consideration. I might try Barkeepers friend with a scotchbrite pad, the pads come in different grits that you try to get the look you want.
