Default Stelling Boxes

Hey guys, I am looking for any information on the servicing of The Stelling Bravo extension boxes. I have a diagram of the service points but before I take off the access plates I was wondering, will I find zerk fittings for the carrier bearing, aft U joint, drive shaft and forward U joint? I am also looking for a source for Stelling parts. I realize they are long out of business but was hoping maybe they sold the rights to someone who was interested in carrying on the business. Thanks

You will see the grease zerks. You may have to bump the engines over to get the grease gun onto some of them.
I don't know of any sources that for sure have parts. There have been some threads in the past about some people who might have parts.

We - Brad Smith- took all the internals out of my Stellings and had a long shaft made and then we could use the Merc HP plate on block for alittle shock absorption for drive.

Thanks guys. This is my first boat with Boxes. It a 2003 Fomula 353 with 525s. It was ordered from the factory with that setup. Just want to keep it lubed as I don't want to have to go looking for parts.

Quinlan I hear that the long shaft is a great option. Been reading reading up on it. When I pull the motors to do the top ends I am going to be looking to go that route.

I was also looking for parts at one time. After not being able to find gasket kits I took it upon myself to go through the process to make them myself. Took a few try’s to figure out what durometer rubber for gaskets and o rings worked best. I have complete kits if anyone is interested.
Thanks

Anthony

if you’re currently in the middle hole, you’ll have to drop the the box down to the top hole or raise the engine an inch to make the straight shaft work
