Not all gears set up's need 'climbing' gear fluid. There are lots that do this -not ust that Omega oil. The housing and/or cover/wall/channel/sump shapes +other things have a lot to do with it. Meaning. some environments fully bath the gears without the tackifiers to make the oil climb.
With that said: Would be great to see a cut-a-way of a Bravo one and see the oil while the gears are moving.

rising gear oil in the Merc app might not be a good choice as it might over come the internal pressure and dump out where ever --- like over flow out the gear oil reservoir bottle or the other side of it is --- if it builds too much pressure that can blow past the propshaft seal ? As the gear oil rises - it takes up space so I can not help thinking about that smaller space building more and more pressure on top of ?? Just thinking out loud

BUP, that has happened to a few drives running RedLine Shockproof Heavy, also a high tackifier oil. Myself and a few others wrote it off to foaming - seems the high tackifier may be problematic also? Shockproof oil also doesn't mix with water - if you get some water into the drive, the oil really 'foams' and goes everywhere as you describe. BTW, I like Red Line products LOL.
