Fountain 47 surface drives

Does anyone here had Fountain 47 or other big stepped V bottom boat with twin surface drives?
Is it better turn props in or out? I think stern lift would be catastrophic in fast turns if props can lift rear part of boat out of water, spinout is possible.

Opinions?

I have a 42 w arnesons (not a fountain) tried both ways and never felt the difference but then again my oat isnt that fast - more of a cruiser

I had a 2002, 47 Excalibur with Arnesons that spun in. Never had an issue . Boat went 75-80mph

I built a 48 & 43 Larry Smith Scarab with twin Tri Max surface drives and always ran them inboard boat was 3 to 5 MPH faster
