ASD6 Question

The ASD6 project is getting close. We need to shorten the trim ram on the Arneson drive, due to molded swim platform. Does anybody know if the ram end is threaded/pressed/or just inserted with set screws? I hate just going at something without having at least an idea of how its assembled
It was a big block bravo boat now has twin turbo V6 audi/vw 500hp
Also is there a magic formula for center of mass for a surface drive, we are about 83.5" from the transom on a 23' boat
Thanks, Jason

My set up is a asd 7 so my drives are different but mine are held on by set screws .

Thank you for the response, Rik emailed me back. The rod is threaded with a roll pin through it, unless its been changed since leaving the factory 30 years ago!. The original drawings would be fantastic!
Thanks Jason
