I know this would technically be going backwards but I’m looking at a boat(minus power and drives) that was cut for AS7’s. I want to use Bravo drives because I have access to them for cheap. The seller hasn’t drilled the new transom yet but thinks a Bravo drive would line up to the Hole cut for the AS7’s. Anyone think it would work?

Not sure exactly what you are asking but if the boat had the asd7 arnesons conversions mounted on the boat you will have to fill the holes where the the transmissions were mounted in the transom .

I would assume, (and we all know what happens when you assume something) that the hole would be lower and larger than you want for a Bravo, if the plan was to move the transmission back into an extension. Which is what it sounds like because you say rectangle hole. If it was just the shaft and a drop box it would be a small round hole. Without dimensions and pictures, it's hard to say.
The picture is an old ASD 6 replacing a Bravo.
