Default Price difference: used XR and Sportmaster lower unit

Hello,

I wonder what the price difference is for a used Bravo One XR lower unit (120h of use) compared to a Sportmaster -2” shorty lower unit (dont know hours of use but in good shape)?

thanks!

Thank you. So you mean that the sportmaster shorty is worth 1000-1200 bucks more than the XR lower?

the thing is that I have the Sportmaster shorty on my boat but it cant handle it well, so im thinking of trading it in for a XR lower, but I dont know the actual value of the lower units

buying a drive or parts is always a gamble, make sure the prop shaft size and gear ratio are the same, you have a lower that doesn't work for you, if you like the deal then go for it

His XR lower is 1:1.5 and 1.25” prop shaft.

I have 1.25” prop shaft on my Sportmaster and if I did the ”engine spin - prop turns” measure right, the drive ratio is 1:1.35 on my upper XR with Sportmaster lower.

dont know if that 1:1.5 XR lower will fit my upper XR
