Transom straightness, new transom.

Transom straightness, new transom.
Just got the New plywood attached to the transom. Both sides of transom is perfectly flat, but there is 5mm difference in thickness from the lower to the upper part off the transom assembly. Is this ok? I know that merc states 3mm Maximum.
