I will look...can you send a picture? Is this dipstick an accurate way to check oil level? Can I top it off through that?

Where do I find "exactly" what units I have? They are hard to read but I believe my outdrives are:
Starboard - 0B899065 0B899965
Port - 0B899877

Those are the first serial number range

Look at the top cap for the dipstick (item 11). If its not there it may have been replaced

Perfect...dip stick is intact on both...will monitor!

Do yourself a favor and buy or make a pressurized oil dispenser to fill drive from bottom. A lot of us use a plastic bug sprayer modified to connect to drive. Others have purchased dispensers especially for this purpose. You'll never have to worry abt introducing air again plus it's much easier, faster and cleaner.
