Gear Lube Pump
I want to make a gear lube pump from an old garden sprayer.
I have seen it discussed here before, but can't seem to find the thread on it? Some of you are pretty creative, and wondering what type of flow control valve you are using, as well as the end that screws into the drive. Like to see my options, so I don't make one and then wish I had done it differently,. Thanks |

That's a good thread
Was another this year with more sprayers https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...lube-pump.html |
Thank you

I hooked the fitting that goes into the drive to the end of the regular garden sprayer hose. I still have the sprayer trigger attached. I just have a zip tie that I can slide to hold the trigger open. When the drive is full I slide the zip tie to allow the trigger to close.

F-2 :
Finally put together the set up with bigger lines. Fill faster, but maybe 30-40% faster. Cost close to $70 or so vs $30 or so normal sprayer, when all said and done with fitting and etc. Here’s a pic https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...4be96e1c5.jpeg |
Btw: that customer wasn't interested in having a skeg. Lololol
