Blown Bravo 1
I went out this past weekend and ran my boat hard. Thought I blew my drive. When I pulled it off this is what I found. I'm going to pull apart when I find the time but was wondering if anyone had any idea why this net would back out or push out?

Go ahead and pull out the input
shaft assy and see if any teeth have broken off of the gears….. you don’t even need any tools to do this |
As said above. Should be able to pull the input right out.
Lost a few teeth, they tried to climb each other, pushed against retainer nut, then the threads in upper case lost the match. |
that's what a blown upper gear case looks like !

Oh that's not good...
What were you doing when she went? Speed, water conditions, heavy or light load? |

XR upper has held up for me for quite awhile after blowing two Bravo X uppers. Prices can vary widely so shop around and don't buy a used one.
