Depends on your goals and use. In my opinion, once you use a transmission type of drive setup you will never want to go back to anything else. However it comes at a price, being more moving parts, heavier and takes up a bunch of room. The TRS, I would consider as the entry drive into this type of arrangement. They are old and way out of production, they can be had complete relatively inexpensively or if you tear it up and don't want anything to do with the TRS anymore, a Konrad will bolt in its place.
