Going to look at a boat a considerable distance from me but don't want TRS drives. Owner advises the drives are Bravo 1's, condition unknown, but the skegs look long to me. Perhaps it is just the picture. Are these Bravo 1's? If so, what should I look for on an inspection. Thanks.

TRS need tranny's to shift , if the boat doesn't have transmissions, they are B1's...........

No I was looking for a staggered boat but not now, sold the other engines

These are the 87-89 bravo’s, they have the shorter bullet/ strut than the 90 to current.

i'm no expert but they look like old bravo 1s to me.

The shorter bullet causes blow out somewhere over 70, a nose cone will fix that tho
and just like any pre 2000 drive, if anything in the upper takes a crap, you have to
install the new style gear update kit
