Alpha SS fitment question
Hi All,
I recently acquired and Alpha Ss and noticed that the diameter of the portion of the upper housing that inserts into the transom assembly is smaller. This results in the large o ring being pretty loose that forms the seal in the bellows area.
has anyone else run into this? Am I supposed to be using a different installation kit? I don’t this it’s a major problem as I don’t have exhaust running through the drive but thought it was I’d that the non ss and ss had different diameters.
thanks,
Jason

Btw: the exhaust doesn’t run thru the driveshaft bellows on any drive. The exhaust opening is below that.

There is a way to mount a ss to a gen2 . If you search on donzi.net there is was a guy that went by jroot. He mounted one on his. There is a thread on it. He is a machinist so … hope this helps
